Efficient Research and Development Institute (ERDI) INC is a nongovernmental organization based  on Harley Street in Deakehmine Communituy in  Ganta Nimba County. The organization holding on to its mission, envisages an improve societal growth and development characterized by holistic approaches hereby impacting every sector of life for the greatest good for all, ERDI is in  partnership with UNDP to implement a project entitle: Strengthening the Rule of Law in Liberia: Justice and Security for the Liberian People.

  As part of Efficient Research and Development Institute (ERDI) strategy to strengthen the justice  system in Nimba, ERDI is providing supports to the arm of the Liberian National Police that is responsible to provides security for women and children in Liberia and criminal Court-E or the Sexual offend Court in Sanniquellie.

 In view of the fore mentioned, ERDI has donated assorted stationeries supply  to the Liberian National Police Nimba detachment and Criminal Court-E at the Head quartor of the Liberian National Police Nimba detachment in Sanniquellie City Nimba County. The assorted stationery materials was presented to Nimba County Commander of the Liberian National Police ACP. Mendin Larmie on August 4, 2025 in Sanniquellie. The Donation is intended to ease some of the   constraints faced by the Women and Children protection unit of the LNP to effectively address challenges in time of reporting cases.  The donated stationeries will be distributed to the Six (6) Police Stations in the Six Cities in Nimba County, Especially, to the Women and Children Protection Unit of the LNP. The police stations to benefit  from ERDI’s donation are: Ganta, Sanniquellia, Karnplay, Saclepea, Bahn, and Tappita Police stations respectively.

During the donation, Mr.Gary K. Dolosie, the finance and administrator of ERDI mentioned that the assorted stationeries materials donated was meant to strengthening support to the police in the discharge of their duties which will help improve citizen’s access to justice without stress to the justice seeker or complainer. Mr Dolsie added that ERDI will monitor the process to ensure that justice is serve to women and children in the County. He end up by saying ERDI will provide support needed to empower the police to comfortably discharge their duties in scope of the project through the provisions of stationeries supplies to easily track SGBV cases as the means of strengthening the Rule of Law in Nimba and Liberia at large.

ACP, Mendin Larmie General Police Commander, Nimba County police detachment received the donation and expressed gratitude to ERDI for what he called prompt intervention. Expressing a huge thanks and appreciation to ERDI and UNDP for thinking in the direction of the National police as part of their support to strengthening the Rule of Law project that is currently implemented in Nimba, the donation will be used for it intended purpose especially more will be send toPolice assigned in some hard to reach areas where access to those materials is a problem.

Nancy Darworlor received the the Court portion of the stationaries with a smile affirming that this is not the first of ERDI supplying us at Criminal Court E with stationaries and other items here in Sanniquellie. She expressed special thanks and appreciation to ERDI and UNPD for always supporting them with Materials that will heighten their work in the County. 

In an effort to to promote justice and security, ERDI also donated some assorted Food Items to the save Home in Sanniquellie City.

The save Home is been operated by the Ministry of Gender to host SGBV/GBV survivors/victims who feel in secure in their communities. The materials donated includes:  bags of rice, gallons of vegetable oil, a cartoon of vita cubes, bag of salt  and a bag onions.

During the donation, Gary K. Dolosie of ERDI explained that this support came from ERDI with funding UNDP as a way of identifying and augmenting the efforts of the Nimba County Gender Ministry for helping to safe lives by operating a save home to carter to SGBV/GBV survivors in the  County. Mr. Dolosie added that ERDI will always join efforts with the Gender Office to fight against SGBV/GBV to provide safe and secure environment for women and girls development in Nimba.

Receiving the donation with huge smile, Mr. Bob Glaletee from the Nimba Gender Office and a supervisor of the safe home extended gratitude to ERDI and UNDP for their intervention to alleviate hunger and to strengthen the capacity of Nimba Gender Office and the operations of the safe home in Sanniquellie City County.

 How ever,these donations are key deliverables for ERDI under the UNDP project entitle: Strengthening the Rule of Law in Liberia: Justice and Security for the Liberian people and the project is implemented in Nimba County.
